Pond Bouquets

Pond monsters are not the only thing you’ll find in the shallows of our wetlands and marhses. Like everything there is a dark side and a light side to every pond.  A yin and a yan, so to speak. The yang side of pond obstacles are what I call pond bouquets.  They never try to trip you up or snag your paddle. In fact they can guide you along by letting you use them to steer and sometimes to propel yourself forward.

The other thing about pond bouquets… they’re charming.  At least I think they are. They remind me of a centerpiece for a table or a dried flower arrangement.
